Dr Raakhee Ramkissoon attended the University of  Western Cape, which houses the best dental faculty within South Africa. She carried out her community service in KwaZulu-Natal and relocated to Cape Town after falling in love with the city during her undergraduate years.

She is now passionate about her private practice, however, also enjoys giving back to the community. She balances her expertise between her private practice and Tygerberg Hospital. Dr Ramkissoon is passionate about her family-centred private practice ,whilst also enjoys giving back to the community. She balances her expertise between private practice and Tygerberg Hospital treating special needs and elderly patients. Her special interest in prosthodontics has led to her collaboration with a specialized team providing restorative treatment for patients with craniofacial and dental abnormalities.
